Our 2013 visual theme, Small Wonders, illustrates that there are few boundaries when it comes to creating jewellery. As wearable works of art, jewellery holds a fascination for artists, craftspeople and designers alike.
Small Wonders will explore this creative diversity – from conceptual art jewellery and the use of unconventional materials, through to innovative design production processes.
As a Dutch-owned investment company based in Zurich, the series will focus on new jewellery works from the Netherlands and Switzerland. As with previous themes, Small Wonders, will showcase the work of leading practitioners alongside new and emerging talent.
The series will include City Cufflinks, which were inspired by the diversity and beauty of the famous Amsterdam canal houses. Using new 3D printing technologies, the buildings of Herengracht no. 1 to no. 77 have been captured in high-detail.
Every month we will publish full details of the featured works here on our Investment Insights pages. We hope you enjoy following the series.
